The Border Slitter and Its sophisticated inline concept enables precise and efficient processing of quilted mattress fabrics directly after the quilting machine:

a) Division of a continuous material strand into up to 12 narrower lines
b) Ultrasonic cutting and simultaneous sealing of all cut edges
c) Manual adjustment of the desired line widths
d) Material buffering of up to 4 m for a continuous production process
e) Precise guiding, cutting, and sealing via 13 ultrasonic welding units with hardened TC10/12 sonotrodes and FFW wear protection
f) Two puller units for even material transport
g) Optional rewinder (basic version requested)

The material is fed directly from the quilting machine into the system via a dancer bar, regulated by the integrated buffer, and then fed to the upper material web of the cut-welding unit. The ultrasonic units can be moved manually, allowing different line widths to be achieved flexibly. All parameters are conveniently controlled via a central touch panel.

Both integration into existing step lines and stand-alone use within a modular production chain are possible.
