Technology The ultrasonic welding process with rotating sonotrode
Welding, i.e. the joining of several textile or natural fibre surfaces, presupposes that certain proportions of thermoplastic, heat-formable materials are present in them. Since most of the technical textiles used today are based on synthetic base materials, these are perfectly suitable for welding.
Advantages Numerous advantages through trend-setting welding technology
With the roll seam method used by NUCLEUS, the weld metal is continuously welded between two discs rolling on each other, so that, as with a sewing machine, continuous seams or even curved seam contours are possible.
